Closing ceremony for Eswatini Trade Fair 2023

Today marked the official closing of the EITF 2023. To wrap up, EIPA put together a closing and awards ceremony at the Mavuso Sports Centre, attended by exhibitors, ministry officials and the Minister of Minister of Commerce, Hon. Manqoba Khumalo, who represented the Prime Minister, His Excellency Cleopas Dlamini. In his speech, Minister Khumalo applauded all exhibitors for putting their best foot forward during event and further encouraged other companies to join this fruitful event, particularly those that export to foreign markets. He further disclosed that the Ministry will work towards securing an anchor sponsor for the annual event.
The Hon. Minister also announced next year’s event dates, set for 30 August to 8 September 2024.
Concluding the ceremony the Minister announced the winner of a vehicle that was up for grabs, Mr Mbongiseni Nxumalo.
