SMVAF Board appoints Bonginkhosi Max Mkhonta as acting CEO

Sincephetelo MVA Fund Board has appointed Corporate Services Executive, Bonginkhosi Max Mkhonta as acting CEO of the Fund.

Mkhonta takes over from the current Ministry of Finance Principal Secretary (PS) Ms Sizakele Dlamini who also occupied the position since May 2019. Meanwhile, Mkhonta joined the Fund on 2 October 2019 as Corporate Services Executive, a newly created executive position.

Mkhonta has been appointed to the position of Acting CEO for a period of six months. Meanwhile, the Board had initiated the process of recruiting a substantive CEO.

Prior to joining the Fund, Mkhonta held executive positions with Royal Swaziland Sugar Corporation, Eswatini Electricity Company, Eswatini Posts and Telecoms Corporation and SAPPI, to name but a few. He is also a non-executive director in a number of local entities.
