The Good Shepherd Hospital Board Chairperson Khosi Mthethwa has lauded the partnerships between the MVA Fund and some of the major hospitals countrywide.
Mthethwa, who is also employed by the World Health Organisation (WHO) said that this was a key strategic move by the entities in ensuring that lives are saved.
“We are very excited to be a part of the MoU with the MVA Fund. Although long overdue, we welcome this venture with open hearts and can assure the Fund of our full support in saving lives and contributing towards positive health outcomes at national level,” she said.
Meanwhile, Ben Simelane, the CEO of the ENHI also appreciated the long term collaborative efforts between the organisations and highlighted that this new agreement symbolised the beginning of a win-win solution towards ensuring that accident victims received the best post-crash treatment possible.
“This agreement will ensure that we offer proactive and prompt service in the effective rehabilitation of accident victims,” he said.
